WELCOME
Deciding if therapy is right for you can be challenging and intimidating. But therapy can be life changing for anyone who is feeling stuck in an area of their life. Perhaps you have noticed a change in your mood, your worries, or your sleep. Maybe you're having difficulty moving forward after a painful loss or are having difficulties in your relationships that you can't seem to get past. Or perhaps you are struggling to find your direction, and you long to experience life and relationships on a new level. In all of these instances, therapy can provide a safe space to examine that stuck area in your life and learn to move beyond it. I hope to help each of my clients move beyond survival mode to a place of thriving, with greater self-knowledge, a clearer sense of purpose, and a deeper experience of life and relationships.
The first and most important ingredient in having a successful therapy experience is finding the right therapist for you, someone with whom you feel connected and comfortable. And I respect the courage it takes to seek out therapy as a part of your process of change. Whatever your struggle, you don't need to go through it alone.

ABOUT ME
I too have gone through my own journey which has guided and fueled my career. My journey has lead me to this space right here, to help guide you in your journey. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC#105679) having earned my Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in San Diego. I have worked in a variety of settings which include YMCA Youth and Family Service and The Fellowship Center with individual, couples and families.
My role as a therapist is to not only provide my clients with support and relief from their symptoms, but also to offer them a perspective and understanding of their struggles that differs from what they can gain from friends and family. In this role, I share in the hope and pride my clients feel as they begin to move forward in ways they previously feared were impossible. I believe good therapy identifies strengths as well as difficulties in the individual and in their community, and draws upon these strengths in the healing process. And I value the uniqueness of each individual and seek to honor each client's particular context, values, and community.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR VISIT
As a therapist I aim to provide a safe and open space where my clients feel seen and understood. I assist my clients in gaining deeper awareness into the forces that are creating and maintaining the obstacles in their lives. I strive to help my clients develop healthier ways of being and relating to others.
